Three Kent County Residents Face Drug Charges for Growing Marijuana in Viola and Milford
Kent County, Del. B –B B Three Kent County residents are facing drug charges after police reportedly found them growing marijuana in Viola and the Milford area.Following a several months long investigation into marijuana manufacturing, officers with the Kent County Drug Unit and Dover Police Department raided a home in the 100 block of Lynch Road, north of Milford, about 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Delaware State Police spokesman Master Cpl. Gary Fournier said.While searching the home, police found 16 marijuana plants in various stages of growth, totaling 700 grams, in an enclosed bedroom, as well as electronic manufacturing and indoor growing equipment and drug paraphernalia.George L. Porter, a 29-year-old Milford-area resident, was charged with manufacturing marijuana, possession with intent to deliver marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
